The T.M.C. Asser Instituut will organise a tailor-made training course on Police and Judicial Cooperation between the EU Member States, developed in close collaboration with Europol and Eurojust, on 17 & 18 May, 2010.
The general aim of this course is to share knowledge and experience and to develop networks and strengthen cooperation between participants working in the field of Freedom, Security and Justice. The contributions of Europol and Eurojust to this programme will provide participants with a clear insight into the functioning of these two EU bodies and the way they cooperate and interact among each other as well as with authorities of the Member States and with other law enforcement bodies.
The lecture programme will consist of morning sessions at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut and afternoon sessions at both Europol and Eurojust respectively. This training course is targeted to senior police officers, civil servants and/or judiciary from the Ministries of Justice and Interior.
