Human Rights Defenders Tulip award: nominations for 2008
Nominations are being sought until 31 August for the Dutch Government's Human Rights Defenders Tulip award for "exceptional moral courage in protecting and promoting human rights.
Hague Colloquium 2008: “The Impact of Jihad on Domestic and International Law”
The aim of the colloquium is to clarify the meanings of Jihad, its understanding and the manipulation of its sense since the rise of political Islam during the 1960s. It also aims to better understand the relationship between Jihad, Islam and national and international law.
Integrating Climate and Energy policy in the EU
The 38th Asser Colloquium on European Law will take place on 23-24 October 2008 and will focus on questions regarding the implementation of climate and energy policy.
