According to the indictment, Niset Ramić was a member of the Sabotage Company within the 2nd Detachment of the Municipal Staff of the Territorial Defence (TO) in Visoko during the armed conflict between the TO of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (RBiH) and the Army of the Serb RBiH. On 10 October 2006, the Trial Panel of the Court of BiH confirmed the indictment against him, charging him with war crimes against civilians.
On 17 July 2007, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) found Niset Ramić, aka Minđuša, guilty of war crimes against civilians, including the murder of four people and the wounding of two others. Ramić was serving a 20-year prison sentence pronounced by the Cantonal Court in Zenica for severe banditry and murders committed during the war. This verdict and the first instance verdict of the Court of BiH sentencing him to ten years' imprisonment have been conjoined into one long-term prison sentence of 30 years. On 21 november 2007, the Appellate Panel confirmed this sentence.
