The Peace Palace Library (PPL)
Peace PalaceThe Library of the Peace Palace has one of the world's largest collections in the field of international law, public and private law, and foreign national law, as well as an extensive collection on international political and diplomatic history and the history of peace movements. Also, the Peace Palace Library houses the Grotius Collection, the collection on the important 17th century Dutchman Hugo de Groot, founder of the science of international law.

The T.M.C. Asser Institute Library
Asser Institute LibraryThe library of the T.M.C. Asser Institute is a reference library supporting the Institute's research and educational programmes and the documentation projects. Since the Institute's foundation in 1965 a small but highly specialised and up-to-date collection has been built of the main handbooks, treaty series, law reports and reviews, dictionaries and reference materials in the fields covered by the Institute.

The ISS Library
Institute of Social Studies
The ISS has a well-stocked, specialised library available for the use of ISS staff and students and for visitors. The library focuses on the social sciences (in particular development studies) with a predominant emphasis on developing countries and countries in transition.

The ' Clingendael' Library
Clingendael LibraryThe Institute's aims and activities are clearly reflected in the collection of the Library and Documentation Centre. Important new publications on international relations, the foreign and defence policies of the Netherlands, European integration, peacekeeping, the work of the United Nations and other international organizations are regularly added. These publications are mainly in the English and Dutch language and contain also so-called 'grey literature' i.e. conference reports, working papers, brochures etc.
