How can I submit information?
The submission of relevant information (courses, calendar, events, announcements, vacancies, etc.) for publication on the Hague Justice Portal is welcomed.
Please send an e-mail to the editors with your details and a link to the information you want to promote. If a link is not available, send us a brief description of relevant information.
How can I submit a long article?
Articles (in any of the Portal’s official languages) of up to 10,000 words may be submitted to the Hague Justice Journal, or to an Academic Community (see below, under the Hague Justice Journal, or Academic Community).

How can I become a member of an academic community?
Usually, academic communities are set up upon the request of a research group. If a person would like to be accepted to join this study group he or she should contact the research group in question.
How can I submit a short article or case note?
Short articles and other relevant commentaries in English or French (no more than 5,000 words) may be submitted to the Hague Justice Journal, or to an Academic Community (see, below, under the Hague Justice Journal or Academic Community).

How can I become a commentator?
Commentaries for the ‘News’ section of up to 1,500 words are submitted by academic commentators upon request of the editorial board.
How can I contribute to the forum?
Forum contributions are either very brief items or short articles (not more than 3,000 words). More information about contributing to the Forum will be made available in the near future.
What is the Hague Justice Portal?
The portal is a gateway to information, news and research on the Hague organisations in the fields of international peace, justice and security. It improves access to the Hague courts, tribunals and organisations and encourages academic debate.
Why do I need to register?
By registering with the Hague Justice Portal you can receive regular news updates, notification of upcoming legal events and conferences in The Hague and information about job and internship vacancies in the city. Your private information will not be dispersed to third parties and you may deregister at any time.
In order to ensure the quality of material which appears on the Hague Justice Portal, we kindly ask that you register before entering the Forum, the Polls and the Hague Justice Journal.
For specific Academic Communities, access is granted at the discretion of the editorial board.

How do I change the language?
In order to switch to one of the other official languages of the Hague Justice Portal (English, French or Dutch), click on the respective "EN FR NL" link on the top-right hand corner of the screen. Please note that not all information may be available in French and Dutch at this time.
