The Grotius Centre is organising an opening lecture of its Advanced LL.M. Programme.
Judge Thomas Buergenthal, U.S. Judge at the International Court of Justice and author of numerous prestigious works in international law will be giving this lecture on the following topic:
“Contemporary significance of international human rights law”
Judge Buergenthal recently published his autobiography “A lucky child: How a little boy survived two ghettos, Auschwitz and the death march and found a new life".
This lecture, which is part of the John Dugard Lecture Series, will be held on Tuesday 21 October, 17.30 hrs at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, Lange Voorhout 44. The lecture will be followed by a reception.
