Alongside our partners Radio Netherlands Worldwide, the Hague Justice Portal is pleased to announce the establishment of the annual Böhler Franken Koppe Wijngaarden advocaten Hague Academic Coalition Award for Young Professionals.
The inaugural Prize will be awarded in 2009 and the winner will be announced at the first of The Hague Debates of 2009.
The Böhler Franken Koppe Wijngaarden advocaten Hague Academic Coalition Award for Young Professionals will be awarded to a current student, or budding young academic who has recently graduated in the fields of international peace, justice and security.
The Award will include the opportunity for the winner to publish his or her work in the Hague Justice Journal - Journal judiciaire de La Haye and to receive a cash prize of €1,000.
The general topic for the inaugural Award in 2009 is:
“Victims and International Law: remedies in the Courtroom”
Eligible candidates are requested to submit an abstract of no more than 500 words to the judging panel (editors@haguejusticeportal.net) before 31 December 2008.
